Greater Milwaukee Foundation accepting nominations for annual Civic Awards

To recognize the extraordinary contributions of individuals who have helped shape the community in positive ways, the Greater Milwaukee Foundation is currently accepting nominations from the community for its 2018 Civic Awards. Please submit your nomination using the online nomination form or via e-mail by March 5.

The William C. Frye Award honors those who through their volunteer work have made the region a better place. Frye was a prominent community leader who served as chairman of the Rex Chainbelt Company and the Foundation’s Board.
The Frank Kirkpatrick Award recognizes individuals who have brought about significant physical improvement to the community. Kirkpatrick was a prominent real estate developer and radio commentator.
The Doug Jansson Leadership Award was created in honor of the longtime Greater Milwaukee Foundation president. It recognizes local nonprofit leaders, especially those engaging underserved communities.
